The Moroccan railway system is quite efficient; trains run on time and a first class ticket is quite cheap. If you want to travel in an air-conditioned cabin you´ll need to pay a supplement.

The train journey to Marrakech, Morocco is relatively fast and efficient. There are two classes; first and second, although it´s often better to buy a second class ticket as the seats are just as comfortable and cost less.

When you get off the train you´ll be directly in the heart of the city.

You can buy a ticket right before you get on the train. You don´t have to reserve a place. Moroccan trains are run buy the state- owned (ONCF). You can check out all their schedules, prices and timetables on the internet. ONCF
