This service is semi-private and semi-public. It’s a great way of getting around or to get from the city to the surrounding areas. The "grand taxis" that travel up to the High Atlas from Marrakech are very comfortable and are popular with Morrocans. Don’t forget to confirm the taxi fare BEFORE the journey! The taxi is not meant to take more than four passengers, but normally they take up to five or six people.
The taxi fare is roughly: 20 dh to go to Asni, Setti Fatma, Ijoukak and Ouirgane, 50 dh for Azilal or 70 dh to go to places like: Ouarzazate, Essaouira, Beni Mellal and Agadir. |
