Oukaimeden is the highest ski resort in all of Africa, and certainly the most equipped in Morocco. It is situated at about 70 km. outside of Marrakech, and its peaks reach an altitude of about 3.273 kilometres.

This ski station in the Atlas Mountains has a naturally insulated area of snow that is usually good to ski form December to March.

This ski station is not as frequented as those of Europe, but if you are in the area and fancy a ski vacation in Morocco, this is the place to do it!

Some of the highest slopes are recommended only for expert skiers, as there are 100 different types of DH on the slope.

The town also goes by the name of Oukaimeden, and hangs on the hills of the mountain. You are sure to find fantastic accommodation in Berber rooms for rent inside private houses, as well as people willing to carry your equipment for a small fee.
