Located at about 190 km from Marrakech and crossing the Atlas Mountains, Tizine Tichka, and amazing landscapes, you will come to the Kasbah de Ait Benhaddou. It is a city that seems to rise from the sand itself. The houses are made of clay and rocks, and are surrounded by a huge wall with enormous gates that protect the ancient beauty of this place.

This city is one of the prettiest towns to see in the southern Morocco, and has been declared a patrimony to humanity by UNESCO. Because of this, many film producers have been attracted to this place. The last film produced here was that of Gladiator. The film industry has been welcomed with open arms by the Berber Tribes of the region, as they often play as extras in the movies.

In the high mountain zone of the Atlas Mountains, there is a desert climate, and the air is arid as it is blown from the Sahara Desert. The Berbers of the region get their water from the high Atlas Mountain to cultivate their plants.
