In just two hours from Marrakesh, you'll find yourself in some of the most vigorous and impressive landscapes in the country. Remember, it gets a lot colder as you ascend into the mountain ranges. There's a lot more rain too. Before you set off on one of the many excursions you can do here, you should consult a local guide; he can inform you about the various routes you can take and shelters you'll find along the way.
If you have enough time, you're well prepared and you have an adventurous spirit, you can choose a more exotic option; a camel ride in the deep Sahara. This is a fascinating and exiting way to see the desert.
