There are many cities in Spain that provide bus routes to Marrakech. They run almost every day of the week. Or, if you wish to take your time and use several means of transport you can take the boat across the Straits of Gibraltar. Then you can check out one of our beautiful Moroccon cities and later get a bus connection from there to the old capital. Sometimes the buses are full. This is why we recommend that you buy your ticket in advance and always arrive in plenty of time. Ticket prices are quite cheap, especially with some of the local companies. Although, sometimes the bus station are quite far out from the city centre.
The seats are often very basic; not too comfortable. Probably best to bring some kind of a cushion with you. Also a hand fan is a good idea because it can get very hot, especially during the summer months.
The two main transport companies are CTM and SATAS. |
